Belomorkanal cigarette is a brand of Russian "papirossi" style cigarettes. It is a long cigarette that contains 3 to 4 centimeters of tobacco and a long cylindrical hollow cardboard filter. They are manufactured under control of R.J. Reynolds in Russia. After the World War II it was the only cigarette available in the Russian market, smoked both by men and women.
